Pat trained as a midwife at Saint James Hospital, Leeds and two years later she trained as a Registered General Nurse. Mum trained with Sylvia, Peg, Mary. Pat met Veer whilst working in Theatres at Ryhope General Hospital in Sunderland. They married in July 1963 and moved to Nottinghamshire in 1964 creating our family home at Wren House in Selston.
