I will cherish our friendship Pat till the end of my days, Your warmth, your caring and fun loving ways. You were my sister, my mother, I had it all, Whatever you were to me we had a ball. Memories will stay with me of all that we have been, You recently told me you loved me whether I was fat or thin. We travelled the world, our spouses and us Those dancing lessons, gave us such a buzz. We experienced dodgem car rides in our evening dresses and we paid the penalty at weight watchers, for our lunchtime excesses. You inspired me with your bravery right to the end, I'm so proud to call you my best friend. The love you had for your family knew no bounds, Everyone knew Veer was the luckiest man around. Your enthusiasm for life was clear for all to see I was so blessed you were a friend to me. So my dear friend, when I think of you, I see a wide smile and a twinkle in those eyes so blue. I know you can't be replaced, while we are apart But my memories of you are locked up safe in my heart. Linda x
